The new Caledonia Connected Committee was formed as a result of the Business Retention and Expansion Caledonia (BREC) project.

 As a result of the BR&E interviews, marketing initiatives were rated important. The Caledonia Connected Committee is a group of business owners who meet and plan special networking events, to help facilitate networking opportunities. 

Examples of the  networking opportunities include, the first Speed Networking Night held Oct 29^th, 2008 and a second Speed Networking Night held April 29^th, 2009.  

Caledonia Connected promotes business opportunities by: 

-Developing on-going relationships

 -Creating awareness of other businesses services and products

-Utilizing the services and products

-Generating and exchanging leads
